GTI-Cup racers Carlos Suarez, David Pina, Dan Pina decided to sit out Saturday & Sunday's sprint races and concentrate on helping shake down Don Bailey's Mel & Sons GTI in preparation for NASA's December 25-Hour enduro.  The plan for this weekend was to drive in Sunday's 3-hour enduro.  Joe Craven was on hand to drive the car in HPDE looking for any problems or issues with the car that would have to be remedied before the 25-Hour.  Scott Neville decided it wasn't going to be fun racing alone and decided to sit out racing for the weekend (and save some bucks too).  The purpose of the enduro shake down was for all the drivers get familiar with the car and practice driver changes and refueling.  Below are some photos from the event.  The Team dropped out of the race after about 2.5 hours into the race to save the car for the 25-Hour.  The car is presently undergoing extensive preparation for the race including an all new graphics scheme.  Stay tuned for more info about the 25-hour race.  Good luck to the Mel & Sons and drivers Joe Craven, Carlos Suarez, Don Bailey, David Pina, Dan Pina and Al Butterfield.
